If you are looking for a small dog to join your family, now’s the time to check-in! I had the chance to meet Sherman the other day while out walking Bailey, and he quite eagerly climbed up in to my lap to snuggle and hand out a few “thanks for the belly rub” kisses.

UPDATE (17/07/11): Due to illness in the foster family, today’s Meet-n-Greet has been CANCELLED. Our apologies to anyone planning to attend.
Starting this weekend, we are moving our Pawsitive Match Rescue weekly meet-n-greet to Sunday. To kick off the new day, we have sisters Sherry and Berry coming in to say “Hi!”.

The results are in from our Pawsitive Match Rescue adopt-a-thon held in the store a couple of weeks ago! Four dogs were adopted: Chipara, Olivia, Simaron and Skippy! Congratulations to the pups and their new furever homes.

The fine folks at Jac Trac, Puppy Love Pet Products and Petcurean Pet Nutrition (makers of now! and go! dog and cat foods) have helped us put together a little something for each one of these lucky rescues. Thanks to all!
If you missed our event and are searching for the right bundle of fuzz to fill your home, Pawsitive Match is holding another Adopt-a-thon with a fundraising yardsale this Saturday, July 9 at the St Andrew’s Heights Community Centre.

This weekend is Pawsitive Match Rescue weekend here at Rocky Mountain Tails!
First, we will donate a new Rogz® collar or leash for every sale over $10 on Saturday, June 25 and Sunday June 26 (limit one donation per customer).

And second, and more importantly, we will be holding an Adopt-a-thon at the store from 11:00am until 3:00pm on Sunday, June 26. If you, or anyone you know is looking for a new K9 companion, please drop in and check out these fantastic dogs, or talk to the volunteers about other pups needing a forever home. They are also in need of supplies – anything from used collars and crates to blankets and food. Any donation you can make would be greatly appreciated. Hope to see you here! |
NOTE: The regular Saturday Meet-n-Greet will NOT be held this week due to the adopt-a-thon.

Pawsitive Match is also holding an Adopt-a-thon on Sunday, June 19 at St Andrew’s Heights Community Association from 10am – 3pm.
Also, next weekend (June 25), we won’t be doing a Saturday Meet-n-Greet because we are holding another Adopt-a-thon at the store on Sunday, June 26 from 11am until 3pm. Check back next week to find out who will be in the store!
